What is worth booking in advance in Marrakech?
The balloon flight, because capacity is limited and it needs a 05:30 pickup, and the Fantasia on weekends. Guided tours and quad sessions can usually be arranged the day before.
Do I need a guide for the medina?
You do not need one, but it changes the experience. If you take one, make sure they are licensed — unlicensed guides tend to route you through shops that pay commission.
