Marrakech city tour
A half-day guided tour of the medina with a licensed guide, from €35 per person. It covers the Bahia palace, the Ben Youssef madrasa, the souks and Jemaa el-Fna, and takes about five hours. A licensed guide is the difference between the souks being interesting and the souks being exhausting.

Why the licence matters
Official guides in Marrakech carry a licence and a badge. Unlicensed guides are common, and the recurring problem is not safety but commission: you get walked through shops rather than through the city. Ours are licensed, and the itinerary above is the itinerary you get.
